Who is Olympic gold medal gymnast Simone Biles?
Simone Biles, 24, made history at the US Gymnastics Championships when she became the first woman to complete a complicated move known as a triple-double during the floor exercise competition.
She is among more than 100 gymnasts who say they were abused by former Gymnastics USA team doctor Larry Nassar, who is serving a prison sentence of up to 175 years after pleading guilty to criminal sexual conduct.

An Ohio judge declared a mistrial in the murder case against Simone Biles’ brother after jurors received copies of legal briefs they were not supposed to see.
The jury told the Cuyahoga County court Monday that the trial evidence they were given to use during deliberations included a motion discussing whether Tevin Biles-Thomas, who is accused of shooting three people at a New Year’s Eve party, had acted in self-defense.
Judge Joan Synenberg had rejected that motion in a ruling that should have kept the self-defense argument away from the jury. But the documents somehow ended up in their paperwork pile and all 12 jurors admitted that the briefs influenced their opinion of the defendant, local news outlet Cleveland.com reported.
