Haitian spends birthday in quarantine in Barbados, enjoys Bajan foods

A birthday in quarantine in a foreign country is no one s wish, but Stephen made the most of what could have otherwise been just a frustratingly disappointing situation. The Haiti national took a chance and flew to Barbados during these COVID-19 times with high hopes of exploring the island once he completed his two-day quarantine and received a negative second test result. But that did not happen. Chatting with Loop, he said: I just turned 27 Thursday and this getaway was a birthday gift for myself. December 11, 2020 Tourism Minister Senator Lisa Cummins, seeking to allay fears over taking the coronavirus vaccine, has signalled she will be taking it once it becomes available here.
