th May 2021, three historical landmarks – Faisal Mosque, Lahore Fort, and Frere Hall – were lit up in the color blue. When COVID-19 struck, healthcare workers all around the world united to fight against the pandemic.
Their tireless and continuous efforts helped save thousands of lives. These frontline workers continue to put their own lives at risk to help their patients. For more than a year, these nurses, doctors as well as paramedics have diligently served us. Ferozsons aimed to support and appreciate the remarkable efforts of frontline workers.
The initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Capital Development Authority (CDA), the Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA), Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), as well as the Ministry of Interior.
Illegal plaza, shops razed

LAHORE:In a major operation against illegal constructions and permanent encroachments, Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA) on Tuesday demolished a plaza and several shops. Officials said the operation was carried out inside Kashmiri Gate and Akbari Gate on the instruction of Director General WCLA Kamran Lashari and it will continue in the coming days.. The officials said that an under-construction commercial plaza in the area of Kashmir Gate was partially demolished because it was being constructed without getting any approval from the WCLA.
In Akbari Mandi, behind the Akbari Gate police station, three shops and several huts, which were constructed on state land, were demolished and the land was reclaimed.
Punjab CM invites Italian investors to invest in SEZs

LAHORE (Web Desk) - Chief minister Usman Buzdar has invited the Italian investors to invest in Special Economic Zones (SEZs) where facilities were provided to the investors.
During a meeting with Italian Ambassador to Pakistan Mr Andreas Ferrarese in Lahore, CM said seven SEZs had been notified and the establishment of 13 SEZs had been planned by the government.
He assured to provide different facilities to Italian investors in special economic zones.
Usman Buzdar said that new tourist spots are being developed and the scope of the Walled City of Lahore Authority had been expanded to the whole of the province.

LAHORE:Italian Ambassador to Pakistan Andreas Ferrarese called on Chief Minister Usman Buzdar at his office on Monday and discussed matters of mutual interest.
He invited the CM to visit Italy and both agreed to promote bilateral cooperation for the protection of historical places as well as the promotion of tourism. The chief minister invited the Italian investors to invest in special economic zones where facilities are provided to the investors. Seven special economic zones have been notified and the establishment of 13 SEZs has been planned by the government, he added and assured to provide different facilities to Italian investors in special economic zones.
