Stolen Evangeline Parish Police Jury generator recovered, man arrested and last updated 2021-01-08 16:15:30-05 A Mamou man has been arrested, accused of stealing a generator belonging to the Evangeline Parish Police Jury. The Evangeline Parish Sheriff s Office says that on Thursday, January 7, 2021 they arrested Kasey Chapman on a charge of Possession of Stolen Things. EPSO syas they received information from the Mamou Police Department on the case which led to the recovery of the stolen Bobcat Generator belonging to the Evangeline Parish Police Jury. The generator was stolen from the Police Jury yard in Mamou. Deputies say the theft is still under investigations. Chapman is currently being held at the Eunice City Jail on charges not related to this incident.
