There are relatives who are special because of the legacy they leave when they go to be with the Lord. My cousin Dr. Susan Grace Barfoot recently went to be with the Lord. I want my two children and my seven grandchildren to know about her special life.
When I was a little girl, my cousin Susan who was a little girl also, got polio. She lived about 1/2 mile from us. Polio was the terrible pandemic of that time. Even though I was a child, I still remember grown-ups talking about Susan being in an iron lung. Her legs were paralyzed and never grew. She folded her legs up in a wheelchair. A member of her family carried her up the stairs at her high school.
