UPDATE 5.45am Monday: A 31-year-old Maroochydore man is expected to face court today following the alleged serious assault of a man early Saturday morning. A 50-year-old Kuluin man was in critical condition at Royal Brisbane Women s Hospital after he suffered serious head injuries around 1.30am Saturday. Police investigations suggest the man was punched in the face before falling backwards on a hard surface. A 31-year-old has been charged with grievous bodily harm, possessing dangerous drugs and drug utensils. He is due to appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Monday, December 21.
