A woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash near the Corbould Park Racecourse on Thursday night after she crashed into a barrier.
A Queensland Ambulance Service representative said paramedics were called to the corner of Caloundra Rd and Bells Creek Arterial Rd about 9.25pm.
The woman reportedly crashed into a barrier and was treated by paramedics on scene.
She was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition. corbould park

Subscriber only School is back and so is the heavy traffic as Sunshine Coast drivers report lengthy delays on major roads this morning. Queensland Traffic has advised of congestion on the Bruce Highway in the Kiels Mountain area, plus on the Sunshine Motorway around Sippy Downs and Mountain Creek. Motorists had also reported traffic building on the Bruce Highway heading southbound near the Maroochydore and Nambour exit. A police spokesman said no crashes had been reported and school traffic was likely to blame for the heavy delays. Traffic building on the Bruce Highway heading towards the Maroochydore/Nambour exit.
But Transport and Main Roads Minister Mark Bailey dismissed the claims in a recent answer to a Question on Notice. He said a recent blitz undertaken with (police) at the interchange resulted in two arrests and the issuing of multiple infringement notices. The Member for Maroochydore said while there has been extra policing and security over the holidays the problem remains. This is something that we ve been calling for, we need a much more concerted, ongoing fix to break the cycle of crime, she said. Really most of the network officers who ride the buses, anyone who s up to no good they re onto their gadgets and letting people know further down the track.
