Sentara Norfolk General Hospital brings in Concert Truck for hospital week

NORFOLK, Va. It was a moment to unwind and say thank you at Sentara Norfolk General on Thursday.
The hospital brought in The Concert Truck for staff as part of National Hospital Week. The performers said they were happy to play for the health care workers after all they ve done in the pandemic. Our medical community has supported us, Lord knows, a tremendous amount over the last year, said Concert Truck co-director Nick Luby. And so, we try to do what we can to support them in return.
The Concert Truck brings much-needed melodies to Hampton Roads

NORFOLK, Va. - They tickle the ivories in tandem, their melodies leave people mesmerized. Nicholas Luby and Suzanne Zhang are always simultaneously in sync. It took took us several years and a lot of experience to get it to point where it is today, said Zhang.
Where the sounds of these perfected pianists are coming from is a bit off key. The Concert Truck is about breaking barriers, said Zhang.
Classic chamber music is being played from inside a 16-foot box truck. Years ago, I approached Suzanne about putting a piano in a truck to create a mobile concert hall, and she said, We have to do that, Luby told News 3.

NORFOLK, Va. - Police investigate an early morning shooting that happened in the 5500 block of E. Virginia Beach Blvd.
The call came in around 4:15 a.m.
A man was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital to be treated for life-threatening injuries.
