NORFOLK, Va. - Two women were killed and a third was injured in an early Sunday morning crash on Granby Street.
According to the Norfolk Police Department, officers and personnel from Norfolk Fire-Rescue responded to the 4200 block of Granby Street at around 1:50 a.m. for the crash. When they arrived, they found two female passengers, 19-year-old Sateya N. Baker and 25-year-old Jendaya C. Hunter, both of Suffolk, suffering from life-threatening injuries.
Both victims were taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

NORFOLK, Va. Police are investigating a crash that left two people dead and one person hurt overnight.
The Norfolk Police Department said it received a call in the early morning of Sunday, May 2 around 1:50 a.m. about a single-vehicle crash that happened in the 4200 block of Granby Street.
Norfolk-Fire Rescue responded to the crash along with the police. When first responders got to the scene, they found two female passengers who were both seriously hurt with life-threatening injuries.
Those two passengers were taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where they died. Police have not released their names at this time.

SUFFOLK, Va. - Suffolk Fire & Rescue and Suffolk Police responded to an incident involving an overturned tractor that pinned a man Saturday afternoon.
Officials say they were contacted at 3:11 p.m., regarding the incident in the 1500 block of Pitchkettle Road.
According to the preliminary investigation, it was determined that the tractor was being unloaded off of the trailer when the tractor shifted and pinned a man underneath the rear wheel.
Suffolk Fire & Rescue crews used specialized equipment to remove the tractor from the man. The man was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries.

At about 9:35 p.m. Friday night, Maryland State Troopers from the Berlin Barrack responded to the area of Route 376 and Grey Fox Lane for a two-vehicle collision.
Troopers believe that vehicle 1 with six occupants made a U-turn in front of another vehicle with one occupant. Multiple occupants were entrapped inside of vehicle 1. The driver of vehicle 1 was transported to Atlantic General Hospital, where they were pronounced deceased (name withheld pending notification to next of kin).
One patient was flown to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital by Maryland State Police Trooper 4 and another was flown to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center by Maryland State Police Trooper 6. Four additional patients were transported by Berlin EMS, Ocean City Fire and EMS, Showell EMS, and Ocean Pines EMS to Tidal Health Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
