PML-N only wants to blame PPP, not resign from assemblies : Gillani By Yousaf Raza Gillani says PPP s CEC meeting to decide on resignations from assemblies. Even if PPP decides to resign from assemblies, PML-N will not do it, he says. PDM s future remains in question with PML-N, PPP openly criticising each other. Opposition Leader in the Senate Yousuf Raza Gillani on Wednesday said PML-N does not want to resign from the assemblies and is blaming PPP for the setbacks faced by the Opposition s Pakistan Democratic Movement alliance. Gillani, speaking to media in Islamabad, said the decision to resign from the assemblies would be taken in the party s Central Executive Committee meeting. The meeting has been convened by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on April 11 (Sunday).

Bilawal is just political novice: Ahsan Iqbal

April 6, 2021 ISLAMABAD: PML-N Secretary General Ahsan Iqbal on Monday said the PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was just political novice. Talking to the media after appearing at an accountability court, Ahsan said Bilawal should not issue such statements that could politically harm his party, reported INP. “He will learn with the passage of time,” he added. Criticising the ruling PTI, Ahsan referred to the prime minister statement in which he said he could not implement his vision amidst non-cooperation of the judiciary. “What kind of cooperation does he want? I demand the judiciary to telecast live our cases so that the nation knows about the reality of the cases. Imran Khan has nothing in his bag but random stories. The sovereignty of Pakistan is in severe danger because of government’s policies and decisions,” he maintained.

Bilawal decided to seek BAP s support for Senate opposition leader: Gilani

Bilawal decided to seek BAP s support for Senate opposition leader: Gillani By A BAP delegation met Bilawal, not me, says Gillani. I had no interest in the office of Opposition leader, he says.  Gillani s declaration as Opposition leader in Senate caused a divide in PDM. Leader of the Opposition in the Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani has said it was PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto s decision to seek Balochistan Awami Party s (BAP) support in helping him secure the office. Gillani, speaking during Dawn News programme Live with Adil Shahzeb on Monday, said a four-member delegation headed by BAP s Dilawar met Bilawal, adding that he was not present during the meeting.
