National May 2, 2021 ISLAMABAD: Former interior minister and senior leader of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) ex-Senator Abdul Rehman Malik claimed that Secretary General United Nations ordered the inquiry into COVID-19 by constituting high powered committee headed by former prime minister of New Zealand Ms. Helen Clark who will assisted by 40 experts from UN and other countries. “Let us see what would be the outcome of the investigations by biologists and doctors,” he said in an interview with The News. Rehman Malik said it is in the interest of humanity that this investigation has started to determine the zero patient and nature of this virus. He mentioned that he was the one in the whole world who requested in writing to probe the nature of this virus.

Evaluation of India s involvement in financial crimes: Malik appreciates FATF president s action

National April 13, 2021 ISLAMABAD: Former interior minister and PPP senior leader Senator Abdul Rehman Malik has thanked president FATF for his commitment to carry out the evaluation of India s mechanism to deal with financial crimes this year. “I have been persistently writing to FATF president about Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government involvement in money laundering and terror financing and I am thankful to him for honouring his commitment to include India in the FATF list,” he said while talking to The News on Monday. Rehman Malik welcomed the decision of FATF and said that he will surprise the FATF with irrefutable evidence against India.
