Joseph R. Biden Jr is the most experienced person to become president in US history. A senator for 36 years, with wide-ranging experience and leadership across domestic and foreign policy, and vice president for eight years with Barack Obama, with a full parentship between the two men on all aspects of Obama’s agenda, from health care to terrorism.
That experience has paid off with the exceptionally smooth start to his administration. Appointments have been made steadily, with wide acceptance. Communications from the president have been clear and concise. Both have been in sharp contrast to his immediate predecessor.
With three presidential campaigns in his own right, and two more with Obama, Biden has come to know America as few have. His experiences across the country have only reinforced the core beliefs he brings to the Oval Office: to heal America and help bring the country together, provide economic security and opportunity for Americans from all walks of life, and redress

Everyone knows that people do not have to support their country’s current regime and its actions unconditionally. If this principle applies to individuals, it most certainly applies to international relations. A country does not have to keep lending its support to another country regardless of the latter’s actions. In fact, it would be plainly immoral to do so.
Yet, this is a cornerstone of today’s U.S.-Israel relations. This absurd principle is proudly trumpeted by politicians on both sides of the Congressional aisle. To question it would have been unthinkable a few years ago. Thankfully, today, it is just considered radical.

The U.S will immediately deploy supplies and other assistance to India, the White House said, following a Sunday call between the National Security Advisers of two countries, Ajit Doval and Jake Sullivan. The U.S.’s assistance will include making raw materials for COVID-19 vaccine ‘Covishield’ immediately accessible and pursuing options to generate oxygen “on an urgent basis.” However, there was no mention of the U.S. shipping ready-to-use vaccines from its stockpiles. Over the past week, the Biden administration had faced growing criticism for not doing and saying enough about the situation in India.

Senators Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) called for the United States to leverage military aid to Israel in order to get the Israeli government to “adjust course” from its current activity in the West Bank.
Sanders and Warren both made their remarks during J Street’s national virtual conference on April 18 and 19. Sanders said that it’s “totally appropriate for the United States to say what that aid may and may not be used for” and that “the American people do not want to see that money being used to support policies that violate human rights and treat the Palestinian people as second-class human beings.” Warren similarly argued that it’s important for the United States to look at every option to curb the expansion of Israeli settlements in
