KMHA begins online 50-50 draw

There is another option for online 50-50 draws in the region. The Kapuskasing Minor Hockey Association has launched its draw with the first winner chosen on Friday, April. 30
th. Minor hockey officials say the funds will be used for extra development clinics for both the house league and rep players as well as jersey replacement when needed. The KMHA joins the Centre De Loisirs, and the Notre Dame Hospital Foundation in Hearst with online draws. The Sensenbrenner Hospital Foundation has started the application process and could be up and running as early as this summer. Here is a link to the draw

Sensenbrenner Hospital foundation online 50-50 draw still several months away

It appears an online 50-50 draw for the Sensenbrenner Hospital Foundation is still several months away. Coordinator Mireille Dubosq says the foundation continues to finalize the books for the first year as part of the application process.
“This is a huge project to undertake. We’re hoping and that’s being realistic to roll out in the summer time.”
Dubosq says two recent Rotary Club Bay Dip Challenge participants raised over $1,600 to get then just $40,000 away from the target of $150,000 to help with the purchase of a new mammography machine.
