Dog dies, three people injured in Cotuit car crash COTUIT A dog died and three people were injured in a car crash Monday afternoon at the intersection of Anchor Lane and Route 28.  Cotuit Fire Department received a call at 12:59 p.m. for a report of a head-on, two-car crash with airbag deployment and entrapment, said Fire Chief Paul Rhude.  Cotuit firefighters immediately requested an emergency vehicle with extrication devices from the Centerville-Osterville-Marstons Mills Fire Department, Rhude said.  When firefighters arrived they found two cars with significant damage and three patients, Rhude said. One woman was trapped in one car. The COMM fire department extricated her, and she was transported to Cape Cod Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Rhude said.
