$6K of meth found on man stopped in Elmira

  The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office announced March 30 the arrest of 28-year-old Michael S. Goodwin, of Southport.  On March 29, at approximately 3 a.m., Chemung County sheriff’s deputies had stopped Goodwin in the Town of Elmira for a traffic violation.  Deputies discovered 50 grams of methamphetamine, with a street value of approximately $6,000, a quantity of psilocybin mushrooms, an AR-15 assault rifle and a large capacity, ammunition feeding device in the vehicle.  Success! Two from Ithaca arrested for meth possession in VE

  The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office is thanking residents of Van Etten for their assistance in the arrest of one Ithaca man and an Ithaca woman, both of whom were charged with possession of methamphetamine.  Jacqueline C. Swansbrough, 46, and Zachary M. Seymour, 26, of Rothermich Road in Ithaca, were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.  Jacqueline C. Swansbrough, 46, and Zachary M. Seymour, 26, both of Ithaca, were arrested in Van Etten recently by the Chemung County Sheriff’s Department for possession of methamphetamine.   Deputies stopped Swansbrough, who was driving, and Seymour, her passenger, and additionally charged Swansbrough with vehicle and traffic offenses related to an unregistered motor vehicle.
