The Ottawa Valley Waste Recovery Centre is letting local residents know when they will be collecting Christmas trees. Christmas trees that are collected are turned into wood chips and used in the composting process.
You can put your Christmas tree out for collection in
Petawawa during the week of January 4th on your regular scheduled collection day.
In
Pembroke you can put your tree out for pick-up the week of January 11th on your regular collection day. If there’s a significant snowstorm, collection will be rescheduled.
Laurentian Valley residents can also put their Christmas trees out for collection the week of January 11th.
