Such is the state of college graduations these days. But this isn t only about missing out on experiences most of us have enjoyed. The Class of 2021 is entering a challenging job market, perhaps like none other. While recent unemployment numbers have been encouraging, hiring for entry level, college grad positions has fallen 45 percent since the start of the pandemic, according to data from Burning Glass Technologies, a labor-market analytics firm.

Role context
The Ethics Centre (TEC) is a unique, Australian-based not-for-profit which works to place ethics at the centre of everyday life. It supports individuals and organisations to address complex ethical issues and stimulates public engagement through flagship programs like the Festival of Dangerous Ideas (FODI). It remains the only organisation in the world providing practical guidance on complex ethical issues across the full spectrum of society.
Primary purpose of the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic graduate, or soon to be graduate, with an interest in ethics and engagement. This role will research, develop, plan and propose a program designed to increase the quality of the Centre’s engagement with younger Australians.
Time To Apply For Mohonk Preserve Paid Internships is Almost Up
When you think about being an intern you probably don t think about the great outdoors. Most likely you are picturing an office with closed windows and bad lighting. Ok so not all internships are like that but they can be unless you intern for someplace that focuses on being outdoors.
Time is running out if you want to apply to be a paid summer intern at the Mohonk Preserve. The deadline to get your application in is this Friday (February 12, 2021). The internships are made possible through the Mohonk Preserve s Thom Scheuer Land Management Internship Program which is part of the preserve s Land Protection and Stewardship program. It is also part of the Schaefer Research Internship in the Preserve s Conservation Science program.
