Frampton woman, 35, banned from molesting man A woman from Frampton has been issued with a domestic violence protection order to stop her contacting a man or entering his address. Cherry Price, 35, who lives on a houseboat in Splatt Bridge, Frampton on Severn, was ordered by Cheltenham Magistrates Court not to contact the man directly or indirectly for 28 days and not to molest the man. A non-molestation order is a kind of injunction issued in cases involving domestic or relationship issues dealt with by the courts. The case was listed before the magistrates on January 22 as a police application for a domestic violence protection order under the Crime and Security Act 2010.
A MOTORIST who refused to give a breath sample to police has been banned from driving for three years - and placed under night curfew at his home. Darren Smith of Oak Drive, Bredon, had denied a charge of failing to provide a breath specimen in Gloucester on May 22 last year but changed his plea to guilty at Cheltenham Magistrates Court last Thursday (January 22). The magistrates imposed a 12-month community order on Smith with an electronically tagged curfew at his home address nightly from 7pm-7am for a period of 10 weeks. A rehabilitation activity requirement with up to 19 days of specified activities was issued and he was disqualified from driving for three years.

This category of crime includes indecent images of children, though it should be noted that other obscene publications are counted too, such as extreme pornographic images . Four men from Stroud appeared in court for seperate crimes involving the possession of indecent images of children last year, including the most serious category of child sexual abuse material - Category A.
Man, 39 pleaded guilty to resisting police at Cheltenham Magistrates Court A 39-YEAR-OLD Stonehouse man who resisted a police constable has been ordered to pay the officer £50 compensation. Kevin Turner of Woodcock Lane pleaded guilty at Cheltenham Magistrates Court on Wednesday (January 20). He admitted to resisting PC Joseph Hanks in the execution of his duty on March 5 in Gloucester. The magistrates fined him £120 and ordered him to pay £85 costs and a £32 victim surcharge as well as the £50 compensation. Turner was given until February 24 to pay the total of £287.
