More than 70 of the world s most beautiful women have gathered at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, for the 69th Miss Universe pageant. And, today, these beauty queens strutted their way down the ramp in their glitzy, glamorous gowns for the Evening Gown round at the preliminary competition.
The preliminary competition was judged by eight women members of the selection committee - Arden Cho, Zuleyka Rivera, Sheryl Adkins - Green, Deepica Mutyala, Keltie Knight, Brook Lee, Christine Duffy, and Tatyana Orozco. The event was hosted by reigning queen, Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi and Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Tebow. It LIVE streamed on the official Miss Universe YouTube channel.

Sorry guys! The national costume of Miss Philippines Rabiya Mateo didn’t make it to the favorite list of Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.
On Twitter May 14, Catriona revealed her favorites for the Best National Costume at the 69th Miss Universe Competition.
Her personal choices were the costumes worn by Indonesia, Nepal, Peru, Thailand, Ukraine, and Vietnam.
“Who were yours?,” Catriona asked her followers.
Prior, the Australian-Filipino singer advised pageant fans to vote for their favorite National Costume.
“Our queen Gazini from the Philippines took the title last year!,” she proudly said.

According to the announcers, the red color in Belle’s outfit represents “equality for all,” while the white symbolizes “everlasting virtues.” The costume was also introduced with a message: “Singapore is a place for all races and they are very proud to be Asian.”
