RICHFIELD, Utah â As the mystery over the disappearance of a 12-year-old Utah boy continues, the child s father answered questions about his son during a court hearing this week.
Salome Johnson was last seen in March in Monroe. Johnson s mother suspects heâs on a work crew tied to the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Tuesday s virtual court hearing was supposed to be about who should have permanent custody of Sarah Johnson and Rulon Jessopâs four children. But a lot of questions focused on Salome, the former coupleâs lone son.
WEARS VALLEY â Sevier County Sheriffâs deputies responding to a 911 call about a stabbing Tuesday encountered a man with a gun, resulting in an exchange that ended with an officer shooting the suspect.
The 911 call, which came in at about 6 p.m. Tuesday, indicated that an 18-year-old had been stabbed in the back by their father at a home on Robeson Road. The victim and another of the manâs children fled the scene and told dispatchers they were hiding near a neighborâs home.
Multiple Sevier County Sheriffâs deputies arrived at the scene at roughly the same time a few minutes later, and TBI has reported that the officers who went to the scene of the shooting encountered the suspect armed with a gun.

According to Chief Deputy Michael Hodges with the Sevier County Sheriff s Office, deputies responded to a domestic situation involving a father and his adult son and daughter at 3304 Robeson Road in Wears Valley around 6 p.m.

Jacob Murrell Brooks, 17, was last seen at his residence on July 9. He left a note in his bedroom, and his window was open.
He was last seen in a black and white (or marble) colored shirt, jeans and a blue and white hat.
Johnni-Elizabeth Faith Blevins, 16, was last seen on July 12.
She had left her residence to run some errands. Her mother spoke to her around 10 a.m. that morning and told her to go home, but she never returned.
