Oliver Loomes is stepping down as managing director of Diageo Ireland.
Mr Loomes, who has worked for Diageo for 21 years, will leave the listed group at the end of June “to pursue the next chapter in his career,” according to a statement from the company.
He has been country director and then managing director for Ireland since 2015.
Barry O’Sullivan, who was previously managing director for Mars Petcare in Australia and New Zealand, has been appointed to managing director of Diageo Ireland.
Mr O’Sullivan will report to John Kennedy, president of Diageo Europe and India.
He will join Diageo Ireland later this month, which will allow for a transition period before Mr Loomes departure at the end of the financial year, according to the company.
