Chester County gymnastics coach facing child pornography charges By FOX 29 staff Gary Hutt, 45 (Chester County District Attorney’s Office) PARKERFORD, Pa. - A Chester County gymnastics teacher is facing criminal charges after authorities say he possessed and disseminated hundreds of images and videos of child pornography.  Gary Hutt, a 45-year-old girl s gymnastics coach at Berks East Gymnastics in Parkerford is facing 200 counts, authorities announced Thursday.  Back on March 11, Chester County Detectives received information that an internet service provider had flagged several email addresses for uploading images of child pornography. Detectives were able to trace the IP address of the emails to Hutt s Spring City, Pennsylvania home. A search warrant was executed on April 13.

A Chester County gymnastics coach has been arrested and charged with more than 200 counts of possessing and disseminating child pornography, prosecutors say. Gary Hutt, 45, of Spring City, is accused of having thousands of videos depicting the sexual abuse of children stored on his computer, according to Chester County District Attorney Deborah Ryan, who announced the charges in a press release. Hutt is a girls gymnastics coach at Berks East Gymnastics in Parker Ford, Chester County. “The defendant possessed and shared child pornography showing the horrific abuse and dehumanization of scores of children, said Ryan. My office will prosecute his depraved behavior to the fullest extent possible. Through the assistance of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, our detectives were provided with a cybertip that helped lead to the defendant’s arrest.

Royersford man charged with stabbing his ex-girlfriend to death despite PFA order

SCHUYLKILL TOWNSHIP — A Royersford man has been arrested for the fatal stabbing Sunday of his 33-year-old former girlfriend, during which her 7-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son were present during the killing. Arrested was Danelo Cavalcante, 31, for the murder of Deborah Brandao of Schuylkill Township. He is charged with first-degree murder, third-degree murder, aggravated assault, and related charges. Authorities said Brandao had an active Protection From Abuse order from Cavalcante that was filed in December 2020. Royersford murder suspect awaits return to Pennsylvania

WEST CHESTER — It may be several weeks before the Royersford man who is accused of stabbing his former girlfriend to death in front of her two young children is returned to Chester County to face homicide charges, according to prosecution officials. Danelo Cavalcante is being detained in Virginia after being apprehended and arrested on a warrant from the Chester County Detectives and Schuylkill Township police for the Sunday murder of 33-year-old Deborah Brandao. He is charged with first-degree murder, third-degree murder, aggravated assault, and related offenses. According to a spokeswoman for the county District Attorney’s Office, Michelle Bjork, the process for extraditing a criminal defendant from Virginia is complex and does not give a defendant the opportunity to either waive or refuse extradition.
