CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WWBT) - According to police, a suspect has been arrested in connection to a store robbery in Chesterfield.
On Feb. 2, around 4:50 p.m., police say the suspect entered Bellgrade Shell Station at 11440 W. Huguenot Road, displayed a knife and demanded money from the clerk.
The suspect fled to a truck parked nearby and left the area after receiving cash from the clerk. No one was injured during the incident.
After locating the truck, police identified the suspect as Paul L. Herrmann, 57, of the 11500 block of Greenspring Road in Chesterfield.

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WWBT) - Police say a man has been arrested for allegedly trying to have sex with a juvenile he met through social media.
On Feb. 3, police say they arrested Robert Joseph Scianna Jr. and charged him with taking indecent liberties with a child and use of an electronic communication device to solicit sex.
According to the investigation, Scianna met a juvenile male through a social media platform and arranged to meet the juvenile for sex.

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA â Police are searching for a suspect who robbed the Subway at 9130 Jefferson Davis Highway at about 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said a male suspect entered the business, displayed a firearm and demanded money from the clerk. After receiving the money, the suspect fled the store on foot towards the rear of the business.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5 4 , weighing around 150 lbs., wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, black and white sneakers and a tan knitted hat.

RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Chesterfield County Sheriff Karl Leonard is set to receive an international law enforcement award recognizing leadership and innovation.
The Academy of Criminal Justice Services will be awarding its Leadership and Innovation Award to Leonard during a virtual ceremony in April.
“I am very honored and humbled to have been named by the Academy of Criminal Justice Services as the 2021 recipient of the prestigious Leadership and Innovation Award,” Leonard said. “This award validates everything we are doing at the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office and is a testament to the great men and women who carry out our missions every day.”

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. Police are searching for two men they say robbed a Chesterfield store Saturday evening.
Officers were called to the Richmond Food Mart at 6500 Jefferson Davis Highway around 5:15 p.m., Lt. Matthew Dunn with Chesterfield Police said.
Dunn said the suspects walked into the store, displayed a gun and demanded money from a clerk.
After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspects ran off, according to police.
