It took every ounce of strength I had left, and the support of my family, to get through each day. My sense of the world and the safe, quiet life we had was destroyed. And while eight years have passed, the excruciating pain is still there. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about Dylan, kiss the urn that holds his ashes and imagine what he would be like as a teenager today, and what his future would have held.
