Russia registers 8,406 new cases of Covid-19, 319 deaths in past 24 hours - HQ
MOSCOW. May 24 (Interfax) - Russia has registered 8,406 new cases of Covid-19 and 319 related deaths in the past 24 hours, the coronavirus response headquarters said in a statement on Monday. Over the past day, 8,406 Covid-19 cases were confirmed in 82 regions of Russia, including 1,018 asymptomatic cases identified proactively (12.1%), the headquarters said.
In the past 24 hours, 6,450 patients were discharged from hospitals upon recovery, and 319 patients died from Covid-19 across Russia.
According to the headquarters, Moscow reported 2,487 new cases of Covid-19, along with 59 deaths and 1,730 recoveries on Monday.
The daily coronavirus morbidity has been the highest in Moscow and the lowest in Tuva (four). There were zero infections in the Jewish Autonomous Region and the Chukotka and Nenets autonomous districts in the past 24 hours.

Russian doctors have conducted more than 135.7 mln coronavirus tests, according to the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing’s data. To date, over 135.7 mln laboratory COVID-19 tests have been carried out, the sanitary watchdog stated on its Telegram channel. Over the past day, some 360,000 tests were conducted.
According to the sanitary watchdog, about 516,500 people remain under medical supervision due to suspected COVID-19.

MOSCOW. May 20 (Interfax) - Russia has registered 9,232 new cases of Covid-19 and 396 related deaths in the past 24 hours, the coronavirus response headquarters said in a statement. Over the past day, 9,232 Covid-19 cases were confirmed in 84 regions of Russia, including 1,330 asymptomatic cases identified proactively (14.4%), the headquarters said.
The daily coronavirus morbidity is up 1,312 from 7,920 new cases of Covid-19 reported in Russia on Wednesday, the headquarters said.
In the past 24 hours, 9,983 patients were discharged from hospitals upon recovery, and 396 patients died from Covid-19 across Russia.
According to the headquarters, Moscow reported 3,312 new cases of Covid-19, along with 55 deaths and 2,877 recoveries on Thursday.

Number of new Covid-19 cases tops 9,400 in Russia for first time since March - HQ
MOSCOW. May 14 (Interfax) - Russia has registered 9,462 new cases of Covid-19 and 393 related deaths in the past 24 hours, the coronavirus response headquarters said in a statement on Friday. Over the past day, 9,462 Covid-19 cases were confirmed in 84 regions of Russia, including 1,604 asymptomatic cases identified proactively (17.0%), the headquarters said.
The daily coronavirus morbidity topped 9,000 for the first time since March and for the second time since May 1, as against no more than 7,000-8,000 daily cases reported earlier. Russia also saw more than 9,000 coronavirus infections on April 1, 3, 9, 16, 17 and 29.
