Cyprus/NICOSIA 09/02/2021 14:37 Jordan`s Ambassador to Cyprus Mohamed el Fayez reconfirmed his country`s principled position of supporting a solution of the Cyprus problem based on relevant UN resolutions, during a meeting he had on Tuesday with House of Representatives Speaker Adamos Adamou.
During the meeting, Adamou thanked el Fayez on the principled position Jordan has on the Cyprus problem, a House of Representatives press release says, adding that he condemned the partitionist positions expressed by the Turkish side in view of a UN Secretary General`s initiative to convene an informal Cyprus conference aiming for the resumption of Cyprus reunification talk
