WWE put out a press release on Wednesday confirming that it and broadcast partner Sony Pictures Network India will produce a new event,
Superstar Spectacle, on Jan. 26. The event will air on at 8 p.m. Indian Standard Time (9:30 a.m. EST on the same day) and feature a wide variety of established WWE stars alongside 10 Indian WWE wrestlers. The release began, WWE Superstar Spectacle, an unprecedented two-hour television special event for India featuring WWE s Indian performers alongside Superstars from Raw, SmackDown and NXT, will premiere exclusively on Sony Ten 1, Sony Ten 3 and Sony MAX on India s Republic Day, Tuesday, Jan. 26 at 8 p.m. IST, with commentary available in both English and Hindi.

Sony Network - Abu Dhabi T10
Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) has returned as the official broadcast partner for the second edition of Abu Dhabi T10 and strengthened their commitment towards bringing the unique cricket extravaganza to their audience in the Indian Subcontinent. The tournament is slated to take place at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium from January 28 to February 6, 2021.
Abu Dhabi T10 is the world’s only ten-over cricket tournament officially sanctioned by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and licensed by the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB). It is the first-ever internationally approved ten-over format competition. Abu Dhabi T10 is a UAE product that has grown into a globally accepted cricket format. Matches have a 10-over-a-side format and duration of 45 minutes a side totaling 90 minutes of play. The tournament is played over ten days, with a round-robin followed by semi-finals and the final. Media experts said that big properties also helped push up average television viewership with a multiplier effect on movie channels and their ad volumes.

Movies on television saw an 11% spike in advertising volumes in 2020 as compared to 2019, with the festive months of October and November witnessing the highest share of average ad volumes.
According to data from television advertising measurement firm TAM Media Research, though ads on film channels had been growing between 2016 and 2020, the past year saw the highest share of ad volumes for the genre at 23%.
