Waterville Man, Bronx Man, Arrested on Drug Trafficking Charges
According to the Kennebec Journal,a traffic stop in Waterville on Wednesday led to the subsequent arrest of two men. The traffic stop was a result of an ongoing investigation by the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, Somerset County Sheriff s Office and the Waterville Police Department.
Waterville Police conducted a traffic stop at around 10 AM Wednesday on Elm Street which led to the single occupant, 34-year-old Matthew Davidson, fleeing on foot. A foot chase ensued which resulted in Davidson throwing a baggie on a rooftop during the chase. Officers eventually caught up with Davidson and placed him under arrest. After being taken into custody, officers retrieved the baggie which contained a white powder suspected of being drugs.
