The meeting will take place at 10 a.m. To help prevent the potential spread of COVID-19, attendees are encouraged to maintain a constant distance of 6 feet from others and must wear a mask during the meeting. Attendees should also follow any additional instructions provided at the meeting. Attendance might be limited in accordance with the venue capacity and social distancing guidelines.

Delaware County Byxbe Campus expected to house administrative offices in 2022

SportsUSA TODAYObituariesE-EditionLegals Paul Comstock ThisWeek By the summer of 2022, Delaware County is expected to wrap up work on the creation of its Byxbe Campus, a centralized location for a number of county departments. Delaware County facilities director Jon Melvin described that timeline to county commissioners Jan. 14, when they authorized putting the project out for bids. Byxbe Campus will be at 1610 state Route 521, a 63.6-acre site that formerly housed the Delaware Area Career Center North Campus. Melvin said the campus would house offices of the county engineer, the sanitary engineer, code compliance, the regional planning commission, the county sheriff s administration, the soil and water conservation district and the Ohio State University Extension.

The Olean Center Mall may find new life since the property has been acquired by a Rochester developer with a track record of reviving troubled buildings. Angelo Ingrassia, through his Olean Town Center LLC affiliate, has bought the Olean Center Mall from Zraj Olean LLC, an affiliate of the Zamias Services Inc. of Johnstown, Pa. The mall is at 400 N. Union St. According to Cattaraugus County records, Ingrassia s Olean Town Center LLC paid $7.2 million for the 44-year-old mall, the largest retail complex in Cattaraugus County. churst@post-journal.com Nearly 3% of county residents have received the COVID-19 vaccine, according to data released by the Chautauqua County Department of Health. Roughly 3,500 people have received their first dose of the vaccine while 162 have received the second dose. Transit employees, grocery clerks, teachers, police officers, firefighters and others became eligible to get the vaccine Monday as the state opened up registration to those in category 1b. “I want to be clear that there is still the 1a phase that needs to be completed,” Jamestown Mayor Eddie Sundquist told The Post-Journal, noting that city employees and EMTs have started receiving their vaccination.
