Ho Chi Minh City praises Uniqlo investment
Nguyen Thanh Phong, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, appreciated Uniqlo Group’s selection of the city as the first place to open a chain of stores in Vietnam, affirming that the city authority was willing to help Uniqlo continue to expand business in the city in the future.

He made the statement during his reception for Osamu Ikezoe, General Director of Uniqlo, the Japanese group in Vietnam on January 11.
According to Chairman Phong, as Ho Chi Minh City is oriented to be built into a shopping center of Southeast Asia in the coming years, the presence of Uniqlo has helped city people to have more choices in garment products.
