HIGH POINT, N.C. High Point police have made an arrest after a homeless man was beaten to death.
Police said they were dispatched to a homeless camp off South Main Street on April 29 after getting a call about a man lying inside a tent unresponsive, bleeding from his nose and mouth. The man was identified as 50-year-old Jaswinder Kumar. Kumar was taken to Moses Cone Hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Immigration agent booked
Chandigarh: The UT police have booked an immigration consultant for cheating a Punjab resident. According to the police, complainant Jaswinder Kumar of Jalandhar alleged that Zoya Khan, manager, Fast Immigration Consultant, Sector 34, cheated him of Rs45,000 on the pretext of providing work visa for Singapore. A case under Section 420 of the IPC and Section 24 of the Immigration Act has been registered. TNS
