More charges have been laid against an unlicensed driver accused of hitting and killing two young brothers in the New South Wales central west earlier this year.
Sheldon, 6, and Shane Shorey, 7, were walking home from the local pool with their mother, older brother and a family friend when Jacob Steven Donn allegedly lost control of his Holden Commodore after doing burnouts and drove into the group.
The two boys were killed instantly and family friend Mataya Ah See, 10, lost a leg, while the 25-year-old driver allegedly fled the scene of the crash.
Officers initially charged Donn with 13 offences including dangerous driving occasioning death.

The mum of two boys who died in a horror car crash earlier this year had visited their alleged killer a day before, the boys father has claimed in documents filed as part of their ugly court battle.
More than six weeks have passed since Sheldon, 6, and Shane Shorey, 7, were allegedly killed by an unlicensed driver at Wellington, in NSW central west, on January 5, but still their bodies remain unburied.
Their parents Shayleen Frail and Joseph Shorey faced off in the NSW Supreme Court on Wednesday, unable to agree on whether to bury or cremate the two young boys.
