People under 50 asking for and getting AstraZeneca vaccine as older Australians hang back Josh Taylor Millennials are turning up to vaccine hubs to get the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine not being taken up by those over 50, as demand at Australia’s mass vaccination centres has not been as high as expected. A nurse at a Victorian vaccination hub who the Guardian spoke to earlier this week said she had delivered just one shot in an eight-hour shift. Virtual schooling gives families more flexibility to hit sledding hills during the week

CADILLAC — There was a silver lining to the adverse weather conditions that created ice-covered roadways on Tuesday: sledding on Diggins Hill was incredible. The snow was so slick and smooth that 8-year-old Jacob Holman was able to discard his sled and slide down the entire length of the hill on only his snow pants-clad rear end.  Jacob was at the hill with his father, Robert, and two siblings, 12-year-old Jadelyn and 13-year-old Logan.  Each foray down the hill by any one of the kids ended with the occupant either toppling out of their sled or reaching the bottom of the hill, where piled-up snow prevented the kids from sliding into the street.

(NBC26) First, Covid-19 forced Northeast Wisconsinites to sit around at home. Now, a lack of snowfall is leaving outdoor enthusiasts like Jacob Holman without anything to do. I only work a part time job, so I don t get to do much, Oconto Falls native Holman said. And other than that, it s just kind of boring during the winter because there isn t much to do. Especially with Covid season, you can t really go out and do much with your friends.
