Jock, who features in three children s book, recovers in cage rest following knee surgery.
Jock, the loveable West Highland terrier who is featured in three children’s books including one in the Mackenzie, had his plans for the school holidays scuppered by knee surgery. Author, and Jock’s owner, Mid-Canterbury grandmother Christine Taylor said she was planning to take her dog to readings and book signings at various bookshops over the break, but they were unable to due to Jock being in recovery, so ran a colouring competition instead. “Poor old Jock, Taylor said. “He had an operation for a cruciate ligament last Friday on his right back leg.”
