Child’s Play franchise television series that’s set to debut later this year. A teaser video came out a few days ago, with the promise of more footage to come soon as part of [email protected] next weekend. Six fresh images have recently been shared for
Chucky, and mostly focus on the relationship between the doll and the young lead actor who finds him at a yard sale.
The photos, which you can see below, depict Zackary Arthur’s Jake Webber in various locations with Chucky, including a school hall, what appears to be a dissection in a lab, and possibly a talent contest. In addition, we see what might be Jake at home, and in the process of trying to dump Chucky into a trash bin, echoing similar attempts to dispose of him in the movies.

Chucky series is just 20 seconds long, ahead of a full trailer set to debut next week during [email protected]. But it gives us everything we want, namely: the shining return of the O.G. Chucky (with his iconic laugh reminding us Brad Dourif is back voicing the character), who looks good as new and wastes no time in arming himself with the nearest butcher knife.

Chucky is coming to SYFY and USA Network, and the first teaser video reveals the show’s premiere date. SYFY released the teaser clip which you can see below, which shows Chucky’s eyes opening at a yard sale and Zackary Arthur’s main character buying him and walking off. It seems Chucky got his hands on some cutlery in the process.
The series is set to premiere on October 12th and stars Arthur along with Brad Dourif as the voice of Chucky, and a host of
Child’s Play alum including Alex Vincent, Fiona Dourif, Christine Elise, and Jennifer Tilly.
