Child s Play creator Don Mancini is busy gearing up to return with his highly anticipated Chucky TV series, and today, we get the chance to see the lil psycho up close and personal.
Set for release via Syfy and USA Network this fall,
Chucky has been treated to a brief teaser and it s a pretty intimate one. In it, we get to see the actual animatronic Chucky doll getting put together. And if that wasn t eerie enough, he s already got a knife all ready even before he has any skin.
The ‘Child’s Play’ film series has been really popular among those who love slasher movies. The original film, ‘Child’s Play’, spawned six sequels, a remake, comic books, and a video game. Most of the films in the series were successful at the box-office and earned a good amount of money.
The series created a dedicated fanbase that’s ready to sign-up for any project involving the killer doll.

Release date
There is no official release date announced for the upcoming TV show. However, it is confirmed that the show will arrive this fall on Syfy. The show’s creator, Don Mancini, recently shared a clip on his official Twitter handle, saying that the series is officially in production.
Child s Play progenitor and series creator/showrunner Don Mancini revealed on Instagram Thursday that the project is now in production. Furthermore, it will stab its way onto SYFY and USA sometime this fall.
To assure fans this wasn t an April Fool s joke, Mancini also shared the title page of the script for the season premiere entitled Death by Misadventure which he s both writing and directing. He serves as executive producer alongside David Kirschner, Nick Antosca, Harley Peyton, and Alex Hedlund.
