Students from three of the four Stuttgart Schools will compete next week in the Arkansas County Spelling Bee, which is slated to be held on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at Park Avenue Elementary School.
County spelling bee coordinator Julie Landrum said the event will feature students from Park Avenue Elementary School, Meekins Middle School and Stuttgart Junior High School. Landrum said students in grades four through eight participated in local spelling bees held earlier in the school year. The winners qualified for the county spelling bee, which will determine who represents Arkansas County at the Arkansas State Spelling Bee held in Marc
