(KFVS) - Police in Mayfield, Kentucky are investigating two shootings that took place on Tuesday. On March 9 at approximately 5 p.m., Mayfield Police Department Officers responded to a shots fired call in the area of West Water Street and South 15th Street. No injuries were reported at that time. Approximately two hours later a second call came in of shots fired with a gunshot victim. Officers arrived in the 100 block of South 16th Street where they made contact with a victim who had an apparent gunshot wound to the leg. He was rushed by ambulance to Jackson Purchase Medical Center.

(KFVS) - One person was injured in a head-on crash on the 1000 block of Bill Road in Graves County Monday, March 8. The crash happened at 6 p.m. According to the Graves County Sheriff’s Office, 64-year-old Jerrian Rule, of Mayfield, was driving northbound on Bill Rd., crested a hill and hit 20-year-old Makayla Willett’s car head-on. Mayfield/Graves County EMS transported one of the drivers to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

(KFVS) - Deputies were dispatch to 500 Cardinal Rd for the report on a non-injury collision. While enroute the collision was up graded to have injuries. Upon arrival, Cardinal road was blocked and both parties were still in their respective vehicles. An investigation revealed that Camilla Smith ,67, of Mayfield had been North bound on Cardinal Rd when her travel mug began to fall.
