Jackson elementary school moving to virtual learning due to positive COVID-19 case Updated 8:49 AM; JACKSON, MI – Students and staff at Dibble Elementary School will be learning remotely for the next 10 days due to a positive COVID-19 case at the school. In a message to families Jackson Public Schools Superintendent Jeff Beal said the positive case was identified Friday morning, April 16. The families of students in the classroom were notified with information regarding close contact, Beal said. The case caused additional students and staff to quarantine, putting the school’s numbers in quarantine at approximately 25%, Beal said. The school is on a precautionary 10-day quarantine with students and staff working virtually until Tuesday, April 27, Beal said.
