A helpful but hangry customer aided police officers in Jacksonville, Texas, by opening his truck door and smacking a man they were chasing down a drive-thru lane.
The Jacksonville Police Department said it was chasing a male suspect in a stolen vehicle when the suspect stepped out of the vehicle and began running from officers at a Chick-fil-A.
Surveillance footage shared by the police on Wednesday showed how quick reflexes ended the ground chase outside the fast-food restaurant. Today, Jacksonville Police Officers attempted to stop a man in a stolen vehicle. The suspect ran through the Chick-Fil-A parking lot. A hungry customer, who was waiting patiently for his chicken sandwich, used his door to stop the suspect, the department said in a social media post.
