Co-founder Leah Moss described KCFC as a collection of citizens who are fed up with property crime and open drug use in Kamloops and the failure of the powers-that-be to curb it. Moss, 42, started KCFC on June 25, when she found fellow resident Bobbie Tinline posting on Facebook the idea of holding a march or protest. She replied about starting their own Facebook page in order to organize their efforts to advocate for change. The group is working on a petition, the wording of which and delivery of are still being developed. Members of the group plan to meet in person next week to discuss how to proceed.
