CUSHING The Arts in the Barn series continues with a photography exhibit by CT Adams entitled “Invitations to Journey” Friday through Sunday, Aug. 6 through 8, at 17 Hathorne Point Road. The opening reception is Friday, Aug. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m., and work is on view Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 7 and 8, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Adams is a visionary photographer who prints in large format to express the power of composition, surprise elements and the moods of nature.

The Poets Corner is delighted to report that almost 100 writers responded to the call for submissions of short prose and poetry for the Valentine’s Day reading, “Love Unmasked.” The event will take place over Zoom on Sunday afternoon February 14, from 4-5:30 p.m.
A total of 17 readers were selected to read featuring a variety of voices, Ideas and approaches. Enjoy the humor, authenticity, passion and pathos by registering at www.thepoetscorner.org/events. The event will have three sections featuring 5-6 readers in each chapter: LOVE WANTED with Linda Buckmaster, Jack Kennedy, Amy Lowry, Josephine Chapparo, Margaret Haberman, and Anna Limontas Salisbury; UNEXPECTED LOVE with John Paul Caponigro, Richard Westley, Susan Tenney, Heidi Rotterdam, and Deb Pfeffer; and LASTING LOVE with Rabbi Sonja Pilz, Elizabeth Siegfried, Alexandra Beers, Jennifer Howse, Pamela and David Brunnell.
