Two people have avoided any serious injuries, after a crash between two cars at Hamilton South this morning.
Emergency services were called to Smith Street at around 8am, where they found one of the cars crashed into drain.
A teenage boy managed to escape the wreckage uninjured.
A woman in her 30s was taken to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition, to be treated for neck pain.

Covid-19 Shots Set to be Available in the Hunter

The Hunter New England Health District is ramping up its Covid-19 vaccine efforts, with local hospitals set to offer the jab from next week.
From Monday, people over the age of 50 who cannot access the AstraZeneca jab through their GP will be able to book into clinics at Muswellbrook, Tamworth, Manning, Armidale or Moree Hospitals.
The John Hunter Hospital and Tamworth Hospital will also start offering the Pfizer jab for eligible groups.
Locals aged 40-49 can register their interest to get the vaccine online at www.nsw.gov.au.
Other clinics in the district will start offering Pfizer for eligible groups over the coming month, with bookings set to be available at Muswellbrook, Armidale, Moree and Manning Hospitals.
If you’ve ever been to the John Hunter Hospital, you may have spotted a super hero in a purple and silver uniform, singing, joking and laughing.
These special members are part of the Starlight Children’s Foundation and take on the important role of ‘Captain Starlight’.
Each day, The Captains visit sick children in their wards, to provide them with a mental break from sickness and boredom and help put a smile on their face.
But alongside these shining stars, are also an army of volunteers.
They spend their own nominated time in the Starlight Express Room, a space for patients and their families to escape the perils of hospital for a few hours.
