Indiana State Police employee arrested for DUI

Courtesy of JCSO FRANKLIN,  Ind. – The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office stopped an SUV that was reportedly speeding and crossing the center line in the White River Township area, on Tuesday, at around 12:30 a.m. While speaking with the driver, identified as Marcus Tow, of Martinsville, deputies said they noticed an odor of alcohol. He supposedly failed field sobriety tests and was offered the chance to submit to a certified chemical test. Officers stated he refused so a search warrant was obtained. A blood sample was collected and the results from the Indiana Department of Toxicology are pending. Deputies said the suspect mentioned that he worked for the Indiana State Police, which was later confirmed.
