May 14, 2021 The U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention announced Thursday that people who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 do not need to wear masks indoors or outdoors anymore except under certain circumstances, like travel. Dr. Marty Makary, professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Fox News Medical contributor, discusses the CDC’s latest guidance and why he thinks it’s about time. He also weighs in on the CDC’s decision to let children ages 12-15 receive the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine. The Biden administration must now balance its response to a labor shortage in the U.S. as it attempts to calm tensions in the Middle East between Israelis and Palestinians. SHOW TRANSCRIPT The CDC is saying yes: doctors and nurses can give kids 12-15 years old the Pfizer COVID vaccine.  In Georgia, 12-year-old Jane Ellen Norman was ready to get her shot.  I hope that they all get vaccinated and so we can see each other, she said.  As younger and younger groups get the go-ahead, how these vaccines could interact with other common adolescent vaccines is a concern. Post-pandemic pooping at the office is going to be terrible, especially for those with gastrointestinal issues

Say what you will about working from home, but for most of us, there’s one clear benefit: It’s a better bathroom situation. Especially when it comes to pooping. Maybe your office bathroom has stall doors that reach the knees, or it’s silent as a grave, or there’s no ventilation, or the toilet is constantly threatening to leak all over the floor. Your boss might come in and make conversation. You or someone you spend the day typing next to might stink the whole place up. Your home bathroom is private (or at least shared by far fewer people). The only smells and noises to contend with are your own.

She couldn t make her body stop itching for 10 years So researchers experimented with cannabis

Article content Despite trying several treatments including systemic therapies, centrally acting nasal sprays, steroid creams and phototherapy none of them provided her relief. Noting how difficult it is to treat chronic itch and given “our knowledge of the role of the endocannabinoid system in chronic itch,” Dr. Shawn Kwatra reports that doctors felt they had few options left and opted to give cannabis a try. Dr. Kwatra, assistant professor of dermatology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, says that the woman experienced near instantaneous improvement after smoking or ingesting a liquid form of medical marijuana. Using a zero to 10 scale, the woman herself reported the itch was a 10 when she came in and had dropped to a 4 “within 10 minutes after initial administration of the medical marijuana,” Dr. Kwatra reports. “With continued use of the cannabis, the patient’s itch disappeared altogether,” he says.
