Georgia reports 3,620 additional COVID cases, 98 more deaths

The Georgia Department of Public Health on Friday reported 3,620 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19. Of those cases, 68 were reported in the six Southeast Georgia counties tracked by News4Jax.
As of Friday, a total of 766,604 confirmed cases had been reported by the state Department of Public Health.
The agency on Friday reported 98 additional confirmed deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the state’s total to 13,146 confirmed deaths since the start of the pandemic.
According to the state Department of Public Health, 6,597,050 tests have been performed in the state, which had an 11.2% positivity rate, as of Friday.

As of Thursday, a total of 763,077 confirmed cases had been reported by the state Department of Public Health.
The agency on Thursday reported 141 additional confirmed deaths related to COVID-19, including two in Camden County and two in Ware County, bringing the state’s total to 13,048 confirmed deaths since the start of the pandemic.

The agency on Wednesday reported 136 additional confirmed deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the state’s total to 12,907 confirmed deaths since the start of the pandemic.
According to the state Department of Public Health, 6,524,223 tests have been performed in the state, which had an 11.2% positivity rate, as of Wednesday.

As of Monday, a total of 752,448 confirmed cases had been reported by the state Department of Public Health.
The agency on Monday reported 44 additional confirmed deaths related to COVID-19, bringing the state’s total to 12,613 confirmed deaths since the start of the pandemic.
