George Kalogridis Named Global Ambassador for Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary George Kalogridis, former President of Walt Disney World, has been named Global Ambassador for Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary. He will act as Global Ambassador in addition to his role as President of Segment Development and Enrichment for Disney Parks, Experiences and Products. Kalogridis began working at Walt Disney World since it opened in 1971, starting as a busboy at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. His numerous titles at Disney Parks over the years include President of Disneyland Resort, COO of Disneyland Paris, Senior VP of Resort Operations and Disneyland Resort, and VP of EPCOT.
