by Mariam Raheem A celebration for 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan was held through a combination of online and offline on Thursday. Students from University of Punjab have recorded various fantastic performances, such as singing Chinese songs, dances, etc to commemorate the day. Videos are still being solicited. The event was jointly held by Lahore Overseas Chinese Association (LOCA) and Confucius Institute at University of Punjab (CIPU). Mr. Luo Qiang, President LOCA said in his remarks that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan on May 21, 1951, people of the two countries have shared weal and woe, and forged a profound friendship through mutual help.
