Two other locations in Jerusalem have been proposed as the “real” burial places of Jesus. What does the Bible tell us about Jesus’ burial? The gospels tell us that Jesus’ body lay in the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea from the day He was crucified until the day He rose from the dead (Matthew 27:58-60).
