Please attribute to Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Dalzell, Far North Police Police are following positive lines of enquiry in their investigation into the death of a man in the Far North over the weekend. A 28-year-old man was dropped off at the Bay of Islands Hospital with critical injuries around 3.30am on Saturday. He was then helicoptered to Auckland Hospital, where he died from his injuries. Northland Police have been working to establish the circumstances surrounding the man’s injuries and subsequent death. At this early stage, we believe there may have been an altercation between the deceased and another party at an address in Te Tii, Kerikeri.
